You will also need a template to draw your marking onto ->
The template will look like this image: |

After you have downloaded everything, open up the template into gimp/photoshop.
Next, you'll need to create a new layer. Then change your pen colour to red (HTML notation is ff0000).
Draw your marking on the new layer, maybe even add something quirky like a horses head if you want your horse to be unique.
After you have drawn your marking on the new layer, delete or rub out any red that is outside of the template:

Next, you need to create a new layer in-between the template layer, and the marking layer. Fill this in with black so you can no longer see the template layer. It should look like this:
Next, save it as a .PNG file in a folder you will easily find.
Next, load up TSR workshop, and go on:
create new project > new import > browse
create new project > new import > browse
Go to the location of the regional.package file, change the drop-down menu to "Package", ad you should see the .package file appear.
Open it up, it will come up with a few options like "project name" "title" "description", fill those in with the name of your marking.
Once you have finished that, click "next", then "okay" and a new screen should load up.

Click the "texture tab"
Click on the "details" option, then it will appear with a clear layout image, double click on that.
A new window will appear, in the top right of that window, click "import" and go to where you saved your marking PNG image.

Make sure the option in the drop-down manu is changed to PNG image. Once selected, click "open" then on the new window that pops up, only click "continue".
Wait for it to load, then when it has, click "done".
When this window pops up, make sure you click "no".
Now you need to export it. Go to:
File > Export > Sim3pack
File > Export > Sim3pack
Now, load up the sims3apck > package converter. When it loads up, click the top "browse" and find the folder you .sim3pack is saved under. Make sure there are no other sims3packs in the same folder.
Once you have done that, do exactly the same for the bottom "browse" option. Then click "Extract". You can now close that program down.
Now, go to the file you extracted it to and you will find a .package file with a strange code-like looking name, just rename that .package file to the name you chose for your marking.

Now you're ready to go! Pop that into your packages file and load up your game!
